T.R.E.N. meals truck serves true soul foods

Natalya Axen’s organization honors her family members. The food items truck, ordinarily parked at 863 W. King St. in West Augustine, is named The T.R.E.N. immediately after her granddad, Thomas Backyard garden her aunt, Robin Garden her grandmother, Evelyn Yard and her mom, Natalie Backyard.

“It is the purchase they passed away in, so I named The T.R.E.N. right after them because if it was not for them, I wouldn’t be able to do what I do because they showed me how to cook,” Axen reported. “My mother cooked. She was a supervisor at Sonny’s for 30 years. 6 decades back, ahead of she handed absent, she explained to me her dream was to open a food stuff truck when she retired from there, but you know she failed to make it that far.”
